The protecting type RS-23/X has as purpose to minimize it it burns of the interface of communication RS-232 against transientes generated by atmospheric discharges (rays) or inductions of the net of energy, providing a safe operation of the equipment, without interruptions or damages to the hardware.

The protection configuration is hybrid, with a centelhador tripolar to gas beside the net and diodes potency supressores beside the equipment, guaranteeing great current capacity, low residual tension and fast time of answer simultaneously.

Connectors pattern: DB-25, female beside the external and male cable beside the equipment.

RS-23/4: protection for 4 roads, pinos 2, 3, 7 and 20.

RS-23/6: protection for 6 roads, pinos 2, 3, 6, 7, 8 and 20.

RS-23/8: protection for 8 roads, pinos 2 at 8 and 20.
